What to expect from your Patient Support Program

We understand that managing your health can be challenging, and we’re here to help. Although each Patient Support Program (PSP) may have different services, here is what you can typically expect from your PSP in general.

Program enrollment

Your physician will formally enroll you into a PSP associated with the drug that you are prescribed. In order to receive our patient care services, you will need to provide your consent for us to access your information. Rest assured, your information is stored safely in Canadian servers for our use only, protected with industry-leading practices to safeguard confidentiality and meet stringent Canadian privacy standards.

Welcome call

You will receive a Welcome Call from a Program staff member, typically within one or two business days of your enrollment, to gather important details from you and introduce you to the Program.

Insurance navigation

Our team of insurance experts will help you navigate all the complexities of the insurance world, including calling your insurance provider alongside you, reviewing coverage details, and assisting with completing required paperwork.

Assessment and testing coordination

If necessary, your Case Manager may be able to assist you with coordinating the proper testing, vaccination, imaging, or assessments that you may need to start or stay on your medication.

Medication delivery

Our specialty pharmacy team has feet on the ground throughout Canada! We provide free of charge medication delivery to your doorstep or preferred location.

Medication counselling and training

Our pharmacy team goes well beyond dispensing medication. We get to know you and your treatment plan to provide expert support with a human touch. We also offer in-person and virtual self-injection training for patients requiring treatments involving injections, ensuring confidence and proper technique in administering medications.

Ongoing support

Our team is committed to supporting you throughout your treatment. We provide ongoing support to patients through a range of services including managing drug insurance renewals (ensuring uninterrupted coverage for prescriptions) and various medication management services including medication reminders and adherence counselling.
